The purpose of the educator training program is to provide the educators with additional resources and skills based on experiential learning to create optimal participation and a positive learning experience for the child. A learner will become a part of the learning experience and not just merely a spectator. This educator training is an intervention programme aimed at assisting the Department of Education in equipping and empowering educators with teaching methodologies and resources to help learners make life changing decisions and understand the consequences of their choices. The primary objective is to bring about positive change in children and further their development of pro-social actions that benefit another person without an expected reward for self.
